…A visit through our history with an L.A. architectural tour
As designers, we concentrate a lot of our energy to stay up to date. However, it is as important to look back and learn from the past. One beautiful April day, we went on a walking architectural tour in Downtown Los Angeles. To make the day even more special, we all agreed to take the Metro. It was a new adventure for some of us.
Led by award-winning art historian and lecturer Eleanor Schapa, we visited historic buildings in the downtown area including the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles Central Library and the Bradbury Building. We all enjoyed the wonderful experience and learned a great deal.
